Equity for Educational Leaders (2 CREDITS)

In an era where educational leaders are tasked with addressing widening opportunity gaps and fostering inclusive environments, this course provides the framework and actionable tools to center equity in school and district leadership. Grounded in the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Equity Toolkit, this course moves beyond theory to help leaders capitalize on the unique strengths of their communities and mitigate systemic barriers to success. Participants will engage with the four primary tools of Cultural Proficiency to deepen their understanding of self, others, and the institutional context. By the end of the course, leaders will have a customized action plan to foster a "sense of belonging" for every student and educator in their building.
