Designing PBL Adventures: The National Park Classroom Model is a hands-on program that helps educators create powerful, standards-aligned project-based learning experiences inspired by the way national parks engage visitors—through compelling questions, authentic challenges, and meaningful stewardship. Participants will learn how to design “adventures” that connect curriculum to real places and real issues, build student agency, and culminate in products that matter beyond the classroom. You’ll leave with a complete PBL unit plan, practical tools for facilitation and assessment, and a repeatable design process you can use to build future learning adventures with your students.
